For the purposes of the present law and its implementing texts, inspection and control of an establishment classified as dangerous, unhealthy or inconvenient means all operations carried out in the said establishment. establishment classified as dangerous, unhealthy or inconvenient, all operations carried out in the said administrative and technical supervision, aimed at preventing the dangers and inconveniences mentioned in the law.
The inspection and control of classified establishments are carried out by sworn agents of the Ministry in charge of establishments or of any competent Administration.
The agents referred to above are responsible to:
– Monitor the operation of classified establishments;
– Carry out audits and submit reports;
– Ensure compliance with technical requirements and the provisions of the present law and its regulations.
They have the right to visit the establishments under their supervision at any time, and at least once every six months.
The Administration in charge of classified establishments may approve individuals or legal entities to carry out inspections and audits of classified establishments, or to operate laboratories for the determining the quantity and quality of effluents discharged by the aforementioned under conditions laid down by regulation.
