The following are considered prohibited; all goods the import or export of which is prohibited on any grounds whatsoever, or subject to restrictions, quality or packaging rules or special formalities.
Where import or export is permitted only on presentation of an authorization, license authorization, license, certificate, etc., the goods are prohibited if they are not accompanied by a regular title, or if it is presented under cover of a non-applicable title.
Under no circumstances may import or export authorizations (licenses or similar documents) be lent, sale, assigned or any other transaction by the holders to whom they have been granted.
PROHIBITIONS ON THE PROTECTION OF TRADEMARKS AND INDICATIONS OF ORIGIN
All foreign products, natural or manufactured, bearing either on themselves, or on their packaging, cases, bales, envelopes or labels, etc., a trademark, name, sign or indication of any kind likely to lead to the false belief that they have been manufactured in a State with which an agreement on the subject has been signed, or that they originate, are prohibited from entry, storage, transit and circulation.
This provision also applies to foreign products, manufactured or natural, obtained in a locality of the same name as a locality of the States referred to in the preceding paragraph, which do not bear at the same time as the name of this locality, the name of the country of origin and the words ”imported” in clearly visible characters.
Counterfeit foreign products are prohibited from entry and excluded from the warehouse.
