Composition of the approval file for insurance company executives
Profile of leaders (Articles 329 and 506 of the CIMA Code)
- May have a higher education diploma in insurance or actuarial science and at least five years’ professional experience in a senior management position in an insurance undertaking, insurance organisation, insurance brokerage firm or insurance supervisory authority;
- One must have a higher education degree in economic or legal orientation with 5 years’ experience in management positions in a financial company;
- May have a higher education degree with at least ten years’ experience in senior management positions in a company or public administration
- Fulfill the conditions of good repute;
- Not having been responsible for non-reliability in the bankruptcy of a company.
Composition of the file (Article 328-4 and 328-5 of the CIMA Code)
- A certified true copy of the birth certificate less than six (06) months old;
- A certified copy of the diploma appearing in the list published by the CRCA;
- A certificate of presentation of the original of the diploma;
- A certificate of nationality;
- Two (2) photos 4 X 4;
- A criminal record extract bulletin No. 3 less than three (03) months old;
- A curriculum vitae dated and signed;
- A certificate of non-bankruptcy;
- A declaration form (CIMA model), signed by the Public Prosecutor at the Court of First Instance;
- A certificate of function and any other proof of professional experience;
- A description of current professional activities and those carried out during the ten years preceding the application for accreditation;
- The deed appointing the manager;
- For foreigners, a residence card in addition to the above documents;
- Any other document deemed necessary.
