Public vocational training and learning centres are centres established by decree of the Prime Minister and placed under the technical supervision of the Ministry in charge of Vocational Training.
A vocational training center in Cameroon is an educational institution that provides programs and courses to prepare students for specific jobs or careers. Vocational training centers are also known as trade schools, and they focus on hands-on learning and job-specific skills rather than traditional academic subjects.
Vocational training centers can offer a variety of programs, including: Certificate programs, Short-term courses, University degrees, Diplomas, and Associate’s degrees.
Vocational training centers can help unemployed people gain skills for re-employment, help employed people become more competitive, and help industries develop talent.
Vocational training centers can be found at the post-secondary, further education, or higher education level.
