No amusement arcade license may be granted for more than fifteen (15) machines per saloon or per sale for consumption on the premises.
Before being put into operation, machines, equipment and other materials manufactured locally or imported, intended for amusement games, must be approved in accordance with legal metrology legislation.
The Gaming Control Agency ensures that the approval provided for in above complies with the model approved by the Minister responsible for of Gaming.
The operation of amusement games is supervised by sworn agents of the Gaming Control Agency.
The controls referred to above, which relate to the conditions under which operation of the games, concerns in particular:
– Compliance with the rules governing public health, hygiene, peace and safety;
– Opening and closing times;
– The validity of the operating license;
– The validity of the insurance policy;
– The certification and regularity of the machines, equipment or materials used for amusement games.
A clandestine amusement arcade is any amusement games operation that operates:
– Without a license;
– With a rented or transferred license;
– Under conditions other than those provided for in the authorization.
