Information Requirements

Documents required for the Company to be Registered in Cameroon
- Articles of Association duly signed by the shareholders and stamped: This is the governing document of the company. It contains all the principles by which the company will be recognized and managed during its active years of existence and operation. Without this document, a company cannot function in Cameroon.
- Notarized certificate of appointment of company manager/Director: This document is certified by a Notary and it attests to the persons being selected by the company founders to manage the company. - To be of 18 years of age and above

- Not to have been bankrupt
- To have a good moral and criminal record.
Step 2: APPLY FOR A CAT 2 TRANSPORTERS LICENSE
This license is granted to vehicles of at least 11 seats the following documents are provided by the applicant:
- Stamped application
- Certified copy of the Identity Card of the shareholder of the company
- Non crime certificate of the shareholder and manager of the company
- Incorporation documents of the operator
- Receipt of payment of 15,000Fcfa (Quittance)
Documents are studied within a timeline of 30 days.
Step 3: AUTHORIZATION APPLICATION FOR THE MINISTER
This authorization is obtained upon provision of the following documents by the applicant:
- Stamped application indicating the zone of operation
- Certified copy of the CAT 2 Transporters licence
- Carte Grise of vehicles (Valid)
- Carte Bleu of Vehicles (Valid)
- Insurance of Vehicles (Valid)
- Visite Technique of Vehicles (Valid)
- Localization Plan of head office and company operation points.
The Authorization and CAT 2 licenses are not transferable nor leased.
