OBTAINING AN ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORIZATION TO OPENING A PHARMACEUTICAL ESTABLISHMENT FOR THE MANUFACTURE, PACKAGING, IMPORTATION, WHOLESALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF VETERINARY MEDICINES IN CAMEROON

INITIATING STRUCTURE: Veterinary Pharmacy Service.

CONDITIONS TO BE FULFILLED:

• Enjoy your civil rights;
• Have a suitable site;
• Carry out an environmental impact study.

Natural persons:

• be a Veterinarian or Pharmacist;
• be registered with the National Order of Veterinarians of Cameroon or the National Order of Pharmacists of Cameroon and be up to date with their obligations.

Legal entities: be a company in the management or direction of which the majority of Veterinarians or Pharmacists participate.

COMPOSITION OF THE FILE:

Parts to consult:

• The table of the National Order of Veterinarians or the table of the National Order of Pharmacists.
• Technical investigation;
• Certificate of conformity.

Documents to provide:

• Request stamped at the current rate;
• Certified copy of the doctoral degree in veterinary medicine or pharmacy of the
  owner or one of the shareholders of the establishment;
• Authorization for installation in private clientele;
• Dispatch of the statutes of said company;
• Copy of a land title, lease agreement or other title deed;
• Copy of the decision showing that the Veterinarian or Pharmacist is responsible
  for said establishment;
• Feasibility study;
• Certificate of environmental conformity.

SIGNATORIES OF THE ACT: Jointly the Ministers responsible for Veterinary Services and Trade.
TIME LIMIT: sixty (60) days.
PROVISION TERMS: notification/withdrawal.
