They are classified in increasing categories according to the star system from one (1) to five (5).
FIVE STAR HOTEL
Hotel where the building(s), including the architecture and location, furniture, fittings, installations and decoration are of the highest quality, taste and in perfect condition.
- Public Premises
Reception hall: fitted out, lounge available to customers, with a minimum surface area (m2) of:
– For the first ten (10) rooms: 35m2;
– From eleven (11) to one hundred (100) rooms: 1.80m2 in addition to the above surface area;
– From one hundred and one (101) to four hundred (400) rooms: 1.45m2 in addition to the areas provided for in the two (2) headings above; etc.
Entrance hall with the following services:
– Reception-concierge service;
– Luggage room with separate locker;
– Information and message service;
– Foreign exchange service;
– Aircraft reservation service;
– Self-leasing; etc.
Catering
– A first-class restaurant

– Surface area of the room not including the shower room, the entrance S.A.S and the storage space: 16 m2 for a room with one (1) bed for two (2) people.
– Suite or flat with one (1) or two (2) bedrooms that can be converted into a lounge (minimum 5% of total capacity).
Shower Room:
– Minimum size (including WC) in m2: 3.75;
– Pedestal washbasin or washbasin with hot and cold-water mixer;
– Standard bath with thermostatic mixer, hand shower and telephone;
– Fixed mirror;
– Bathroom accessories; etc.
Sanitary – W.C.:
– English-style WC inside the shower room, with low flush and accessories.
Ventilation and air conditioning:
