Catering establishments include:
– The tourist restaurant;
– Snack bars
– The grill-room;
– Cafe restaurants;
– The tea room;
– The buffet.
They are classified in increasing categories according to the system of bands from one (1) to four (4).
THREE-BAND CATEGORY
In addition to the requirements for the two-band category, the following standards and conditions apply:
– General installation and comfort;
– Tables equipped with tablecloths or placemats and cloth napkins changed on each guest’s departure;
– Cloakroom appropriate to the size of the rooms, in a place easily accessible to customers;
– Sanitary block comprising at least two washbasins with hot and cold running water, a gentlemen’s toilet and two independent urinals for every hundred people maximum;
– Cloth towels in perfect condition at the washbasins, etc.
