Catering establishments include:
– The tourist restaurant;
– Snack bars
– The grill-room;
– Cafe restaurants;
– The tea room;
– The buffet.
They are classified in increasing categories according to the system of bands from one (1) to four (4).
FOUR-BAND CATEGORY
In addition to the requirements for category three ranges, the following standards and conditions apply:
– Particularly careful general installations;
– An extensive menu with a wide range of culinary specialties;
– Tables separated from each other by a minimum space of fifty centimeters;
– Crockery of irreproachable quality, silver metal cutlery and crystal glassware conforming to standard NF B 30 004; etc.
